Roles and Responsibilities
Works with Business Groups to define their business requirements and work with IT to develop
appropriate solutions.
Understands the business requirements and designs solutions that interface with all key
applications such as AP/AR, Projects, Assets tracks.
Documents implementation considerations, data models, workflows, process maps, etc. as
required.
Participates in cross-functional stakeholder communications, sends status reports by preparing
materials, facilitating sessions and documenting outcomes.
Collaborates with Senior BSAs, architects and technical team for design and development.
Helps drive and execute functional design, testing, change management and end user
acceptance for projects and enhancements as needed.
Works with relevant teams to support day-to-day systems and interfaces to resolve issues
related to existing solutions.
Actively researches new technology trends and shares insights with the team.
Playing a key role in communication with cross-functional business teams
Qualifications
M.Com, C.A., interns
Bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent practical experience
Experience in finance applications
Technical Skills
Sound knowledge of Finance domain
Exposure of P2P, O2C, R2R process flows
Exposure to work on ERP (Tally, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft…) finance
Experience and good knowledge of system implementations lifecycles.
Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders. Prior experience working in various Finance
functions, such as Accounting, Tax, Costing, Payables, receivables.
Technical Consultant
Role & Responsibilities:
Gathering and documenting business requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Design and develop Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, objects, tables,
views, and synonyms based on requirements.
Develop OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), Oracle Business Intelligence
Publisher (BIP), Smart View for Excel and Financial Reporting Centre (RFC)
Write clear and efficient code to create high-performance applications.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
Maintain and update existing Oracle VBCS applications, OIC integrations, Oracle PL/SQL
packages, stored procedures, functions, objects, tables, views, and synonyms as needed.
Ensure all development work adheres to best practices and complies with company
standards.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improvement initiatives
Optimize code by following performance-tuning techniques considering the limitations of the current environment.
Provide production support application built and solve requests for data updates, ad-hoc
reports, or minor enhancements.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualities
1 to 3 years of experience in software development and a bachelor’s degree.
Strong understanding of Oracle development tools and technologies.
Exposure / Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and REST/SOAP APIs, OTBI (Oracle
Transactional Business Intelligence), Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP), Smart View
for Excel and Financial Reporting Centre (RFC)
Proficient in programming using PL/SQL and SQL Concepts, PL/SQL in constructing
Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions & Triggers.
Proven experience as Exposure to Oracle VBCS /OIC Developer or similar role. (shifted
below)
Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Database. Good knowledge on Oracle ERP or Fusion Cloud, Finance modules knowledge preferred.
Any training/certification will be highly preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a mention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good understanding of key concepts such as Collections, Exception Handling, and Cursors.
