- OpenShift Engineer: Job Description for the requirement
- Design implement and optimize OpenShift Container Platform architecture to meet business and technical requirements
- Define best practices and strategies for containerization and microservices based application development
- Develop and document high-level and detailed design for OpenShift platform solutions
- Deploy and configure OpenShift clusters in on premises hybrid or cloud environments
- Implement secure and scalable CICD pipelines integrated with OpenShift to automate the deployment process
- Optimize resource utilization and application performance across the OpenShift environment
- Oversee the lifecycle management of the OpenShift platform including upgrades patches and capacity planning
- Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters ensuring high availability and reliability of applications
- Implement logging monitoring and alerting solutions for OpenShift environments using tools such as Prometheus Grafana or ELK stack
- Work closely with developers’ operations and security teams to ensure seamless integration of OpenShift with existing infrastructure and workflows
- Act as a subject matter expert SME for OpenShift and container technologies providing guidance and support to teams across the organization
- Collaborate with cloud and network teams to ensure a robust secure and compliant infrastructure
- Stay UpToDate with emerging trends tools and technologies in containerization and Cloud native development
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the OpenShift environment and related processes
- Provide recommendations on cost optimization and resource efficiency for container workloads.
